I was induced into the world of gaming when I caught my parent playing Star Wars Shadows of the Empire for N64 on Christmas eve when I was 6.
 
At the age of 9 I started playing Magic the Gathering.  By 13 I was playing at a competitive level in the JSS tournament series which took me to the JSS Championships in  Baltimore MD in 2005.  After playing for 3 years at that level the program was canceled, but not before I was able to acquire thousands of dollars in college scholarships.  Today I am using the scholarship money to pursuing a degree in software development.

In 2007 I got a job at Guardian Games and discovered Euro Board Games.  It has since become one of my favorite hobby's, consuming my closet and free time.  I still play magic, but spend more time judging events at Guardian Games and managing the Magic the Gathering department.

My interests outside of gaming include bowling, basketball (go Blazers), skiing, and wake-boarding.
