What’s Different About Oath of the Gatewatch Prerelease?

Two-Headed Giant is Central to the Experience
Oath of the Gatewatch is all about teamwork. It’s designed to support Two-Headed Giant better than most any set in Magic history.

The Sealed Deck Format Is Different

Sealed Deck (including Prerelease) is 4 packs of Oath of the Gatewatch and 2 packs of Battle for Zendikar.

There’s a New Basic Land

Oath of the Gatewatch features a new basic land, Wastes, which produces colorless mana.

Here’s What You Need to Know:

Any number of Wastes can be played in Constructed formats
In Limited formats, players may only play the Wastes they draft
Wastes do not appear in the basic land slots of Booster Packs
Wastes appear in both Fat Packs and Intro Packs
